Greetings - Björn Haake here. I am an avid cyclist - no matter if riding to work, to go shopping, just cruising around the city, riding hard on my road bike, exploring the forests on my mountain bike or with panniers on a tour to discover new territories or simply having fun. Not sure what I would have become without a bicycle...

Alongside my passion for ridign bicycles I also developed a deep interest in traffic security issues, sparked by class that I took with the League of American Bicyclists (LAB), later becoming a League Cycling Instructor for them (teaching classes from 2003 to 2007). Returning to Germany, I made sure the knowledge got transferred across the pond and I started teaching  these classes for the LAB equivalent in Germany, the ADFC Freiburg (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club) where I am also the president since 2019.

In my profession, I alos deal with bicycles,  working for JobRad. Its moto is to get people onto bicycles - something that I am 100 percent convinced of!
