A cool Tour with the family. The bike path is a certified family-friendly path. While the main climb is suggested to be done by train don't underestimate the short ups and downs if you are a beginner!

After my masters thesis in Santa Barbara, CA, I had a few months to kill, so I rode my bike up Highway 1 and on through Oregon and Washington to Vancouver, with a side step to Banff and Jasper National Parks (beautiful!). Due to my flight back to Europe, I had to take the train from Seattle back to Santa Barbara - Can't cycle that in 35 hours!

Tour via Poland and the Baltic Countries to St. Petersburg in Russia. This was thanks to an IAESTE internship while I was a student.
