Shorter than the previous weekend, but Tour number 13 still offered over 300 Kilometers of riding while crossing the Black Forest from North to South. Tour Number 12 is the longest, with 387 Kilometers and 4000 Meter of denivelation. Actually, due to construction and counting the 40km roundtrip to and from the start in Kirchzarten, it was actually 440km and almost 5000m of climbing. But fun nonetheless. Very beautiful area! Once again, scenery from the finest in Jan Ullrich Tour number ten - but it was also tough. Fortunately not as hot as last weekend, I was able to comfortably - but slowly - finish this ride.
